OUR PRACTICE
Wade Veterinary Services brings compassionate, comprehensive care right to your home or farm, taking the stress out of veterinary visits. Based out of Martin County, we cater to a variety of species including cats, dogs, and small farm animals (including goats, sheep, chickens). Beyond wellness exams and vaccinations, we offer services such as peaceful in-home euthanasia and hospice care. We are committed to pet owner education and providing the best possible care for your pets in the comfort of their own environment.

Hey there! I'm happy you're here and exploring our site! Whether you're an existing or future client, I look forward to getting to know you. Here is a little info about myself!
I’m Dr. Johanna Wade, a fourth-generation native Floridian born and raised in West Palm Beach. After earning my bachelor’s degree in Wildlife Ecology and Conservation followed by my Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Florida, I entered private practice and did a little teaching on the side. Eventually, I set out to combine my passion for animals (and their humans!), medicine, and education into a practice of my own. Having grown up fishing and exploring along the Treasure Coast, I’m thrilled to be here serving this community.
With experience in both large and small animal medicine and surgery, I founded Wade Veterinary Services to provide compassionate, fear-free veterinary care to a variety of species in the comfort of their own homes or farms. As a house-call veterinarian, I’m grateful for the opportunity to slow down, build meaningful relationships with my clients and patients, and provide personalized care without the stress of a traditional clinic visit.
I believe every pet owner deserves to feel confident and informed when making decisions about their pet’s health. No appointment is complete until your questions have been answered and you feel comfortable with the plan moving forward.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my husband, three kids, and large extended family. I also enjoy outdoor adventures and a good run or workout to clear my mind.
Hi, my name is Alicia Villegas. I was born in Indiana, where my family just so happened to be harvesting apples and other crops that season. We were a large family that dedicated our time, strengths and talents to the agricultural industry, moving between Ohio and Florida each year until I married. Though I have ties to both states, Florida has always felt like home and is where I have resided the majority of my life.
My professional life has been deeply rooted in caregiving. I started as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) before transitioning into veterinary medicine. I have also accumulated nearly a decade of experience as an Animal Care Manager and Coordinator at a local non-profit animal sanctuary. This background has instilled in me a profound understanding of compassionate care and a deep commitment to the well-being of those entrusted to my care. My passion for providing comfort and support is what truly drives me.
Outside of my professional life, I find immense joy in family, spending time with my husband and five children, cooking them delicious meals, celebrating milestones, and enjoying the beauty of Florida's waterways. This rich personal life grounds me and fuels my passion for nurturing and supporting others.
